Les Affaires Plus - Beware of liquid alternative funds
In its Winter 2019 edition, the Les Affaires Plus magazine published an article (in French only) entitled "Gare aux fonds alternatifs liquides" on page 30. This article by Ian Gascon, president of Idema Investments, explains some of the weaknesses of liquid alternative funds, such as higher fees and a potentially higher closure rate. It also highlights that in the long run, these funds will probably not be a positive addition to an investor's portfolio.
