In its February - March 2014 edition, the Les Affaires Plus magazine published an article (in French only) entitled "Investir comme un pro" on page 15. This article by Ian Gascon, president of Idema Investments, discusses the main advantages of using a discount broker. It explains that fees charged to do-it-yourself investors by discount brokers are often less than those charged to institutional investors.
