Les Affaires Plus - understanding portfolio tax issues
In its Fall 2018 edition, the Les Affaires Plus magazine published an article (in French only) entitled "La fiscalité, cette incomprise" on page 33. This article by Ian Gascon, president of Idema Investments, explains why tax issues should be taken into account when managing a portfolio. It also highlights that model portfolios, often followed by do-it-yourself investors, are rarely a good choice for all investment account types.
