In its May 2013 edition, the A+ magazine published an article (in French only) entitled "Diversify at a good price" on page 24. This article on Exchange traded funds (ETFs) by Ian Gascon, president of Idema Investments, summarizes the main factors to consider diversifying a portfolio with ETFs. It is suggested not to expose too much a portfolio to a specific risk, but to diversify the types of risks, to regularly rebalance a portfolio and too always have a portfolio that is coherent with the investor's profile.
